Standing Warrior Holding Rectangular Shield

Standing in a position of challenge with legs well apart, the warrior holds in his left hand a flexible rectangular war shield. He wears a bolero jacket with textured mat and other patterns and openwork shoulders. A large single bead is at the neck. Oliva shells are suspended from a waist band, lying over a short scalloped kilt and loincloth. The man's hair is pulled up to a topknot, with the rest of his hair and head accoutrements missing. A Maya scarification knob is added to his nose bridge, along with a clipped moustache and a short goatee. His ear ornaments are glyphic. Areas of original blue, yellow, and white paint remain. Finger and thumb tips are missing from his right hand and his right foot is replaced.
