A Nayarit Joined Couple
c. 200 BC - 200 AD
Painted in dark red, cream and black. The female holding a bowl in
her proper right hand, the male holds a rattle in his left. The
male leans toward the woman as she turns her head to him as though
in dialogue. Each wears typical Nayarit style garments, pectoral,
earrings, and headband. In remarkably good condition for origin,
size, medium, and age, intact aside from repair to the woman's
