A Large Jalisco Seated Male c. 200 BC - 200 AD

Of monumental size for its type, the male firmly seated in magisterial posture with hands on raised knees, finely modeled abdomen, arms, breasts, and genitals. The head with large wide open eyes and lips partly open showing teeth, eyes and mouth outlined with black pigment. In apparently very good condition aside from restoration to ears and stains and residue from wax props on underside.
