    An Ameca Jalisco Seated Figure Holding a Bowl c. 200 BC - 200 AD

    Seated cross-legged holding bowl on lap with both hands, face set in pleasant expression with smiling lips. In apparently good condition with cracks at jointure of bowl and legs, upper body and head with blotchy surface and other discolorations and surface losses from underground context, wax props on underside.
