A Very Fine Chinese Carved Jadeite and Coral Bead Court Necklace, 19th/early 20th century
45-3/4 inches (116.2 cm) (total length)
7/8 inches (largest bead diam.)

The court necklace is comprised by 108 beads including 4 large reticulated carved coral beads, each featuring Shou medallions surrounded by scrolling foliage, along with 104 jadeite beads, each decorated similarly with Shou medallions. The three tassels each bearing 8 coral beads and a water-drop-form jadeite pendant, all suspending two oval jadeite pendants. The coral beads in an overall salmon color, the jadeite beads and pendants of beautiful rich green tone in various hues.
