Description
A Chinese White Jade Dragon Belt Hook Mounted as the Finial of a Box, Ming DynastyMarks: A "Made in England" mark on the box
5 x 1-1/8 x 1-1/4 inches (12.7 x 2.9 x 3.2 cm) (jade)
3-1/4 x 7-5/8 x 4-3/8 inches (overall)
A Chinese white jade belt hook, carved and pierved with a coiled chilong dragon crawling towards the dragon-head terminal.
Condition Report*:
The jade is in overall very good condition, with no visible chips, cracks or repairs, not examined detached from the box. The box has some abrasions to the surface, consistent with age and use. Otherwise, no other visible condition issues to report.
