In 1896, Louis Comfort Tiffany presented President Benjamin Harrison (President of the United States 1889-1893) with an identical vase inscribed with the accession number F 2237, as a wedding gift to the President and his second wife, Mary Lord Dimmick. The Harrison vase remains in the permanent collection at the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, Indianapolis, Indiana.
Presents well with strong colored clean interior.
