    Acquired by the present owner from the above, circa 1980s.

    Nicole Hambourg confirmed the authenticity of this work upon the occasion of its prior offer through Sotheby's in 2020.


    Condition Report*: Unlined canvas. Very slight frame abrasion visible at upper and right edges. A 3/4-inch vertical line of accretion, likely paint, approximately 8 3/4 inches inward from center of left edge. Not examined out of frame.
    Under UV: aforementioned line of accretion fluoresces. Some modern pigments fluoresce, commensurate with age.
