    After studying art in Chicago, New York, and Europe, Kenneth Adams settled in New Mexico and established himself as a portrait and landscape painter. He became the youngest member of the Taos Society of Artists and was known for his color-rich paintings as well as for his skills as a draughtsman and printmaker. The present portfolio is Adams' reprisal of eight of his Southwestern-themed lithographs from the 1930s and 1940s, respectively titled as follows: Harvest, The Spring, Doña Ascensione, Taos Indian Woman, House in the Sun, New Mexico Village Under Snow, Ranchos de Taos Church - Moonlight, The Miner. This publication was sponsored by the University of New Mexico in 1950.
