    Condition Report*:

Under UV examination the painting appears to be in good condition.  The canvas has been lined with wax resin and a cotton fabric support.  The original stretcher has been replaced with a new wood stretcher with a horizontal cross bar that is in good condition.  The painting is flat and has good surface tension.  Under UV light, it appears that most of the original oxidized varnish has been removed although there are traces of it remaining on the surface and in a small area in the lower left quadrant.  The signature in the lower left is intact.  There is no visible inpainting.  The final varnish is an evenly applied coat of Acryloid B-72 with a semi-gloss sheen. This report was completed by Carlos Espinosa, CIPP at Las Negras Studio, LLC Dallas, TX.
