    Property from a Dallas Estate.

    The Sentinel, a stoic figure human in scale, its "head", which changes from each vantage point, presents a complex assemblage of forms that distort light, outstretched arms of prisms extend from a faceted steel pedestal. Included with lot is the original fitted shipping crate and low pedestal.

    Sentinel was created by Peter Aldridge for Steuben Glass and was displayed in the exhibition The Steuben Project: Sculptures in Crystal. Included with lot is the original fitted shipping crate.


    Condition Report*: chipping to internal edges of prisms (prisims are removeable from metal pedestal), chip to the exposed upper end of prisim at lower left, otherwise minor surface scratches commensurate with age
