The Albuquerque Journal said that Carl Redin "is remembered as a pioneer in Southwestern painting, with emphasis on golden aspens and cottonwoods." Redin's painting of Aspens in Early Summer is in very good condition and was signed and titled by the artist on the back of the panel.
A copy of an authentication by Nedra Matteucci accompanies the lot.
