    each on albumen paper with original mounts, identified as the work of George W. Scott, each bearing the period ink script notation at the top "D. Powell Johnson Jr." with ink script ID at the bottom and period ink script ID on the verso of each image, "Made during the "Ghost Dance" outbreak of the Brule Sioux in the Winter 1890 - 91 at Ft. Yates N. D. (Standing Rock Agency). Images identified as follows: Paul Elk's Teepee; Pyramid Butte - 20 miles N. W. of Ft. Yates; Issue Day - Cattle 740 head - Standing Rock. (the original negative is cracked on this image); and Issue Day - 740 Cattle - Standing Rock

    Dimensions: images, 4 ½ x 7 ¾ inches each; mounts, 5 ¼ x 8 ½ inches each
