Three Micmac Quilled Birchbark Boxes
Diameters: 4 ½ to 6 ¼ inches

More Information: Each in overall good condition. The smallest (on the left in the catalog illustration) with top surface separated from the rest of the lid and a few stitches missing on the body. The larger round example (in the middle of the catalog illustration) with loss to stitches around the top perimeter and a few quill stitches missing. The oval example (on the right in the catalog illustration) with a couple of coils missing and some damage to quills on the body. One area of discoloration (bleached) on one end. Otherwise, surfaces with some soiling. No apparent restoration.
