Collected by Major Charles Beverly Ewing, a medical doctor in the U. S. Army, also known as "The Fighting Doctor." His accounts have been recorded and published in various formats, one being Voices of Wounded Knee by William S. E. Coleman. Through the family by descent.
Length: 32 ½ inches overall
In overall good condition. Mirror with cracks. One minor chip to one hair pipe. Quillwork and beadwork with some loss. One brass bead missing (?) Two small metal cones missing. Green fiber with loss. No apparent restoration.
