DescriptionA Matching Pair of Crow Parfleche Envelopes
rawhide, pigments, hide ties
Painted with a bold pattern in typical colors and outlined in dark blue, these cases were made to store food, clothing and other personal items. They are tied as they might be secured when moving camp. While they were made in pairs, it is quite unusual to find a pair remaining together today.
