FUNGUS GNAT IN BALTIC AMBER

As if caught in mid-flight; this fungus gnat has its wings up and is preserved in fine golden amber. The gnat has great antennae, body, legs, and wings with venation; it measures 1/16 inch in an amber nugget measuring 1 x ½ inches.
