This golden-yellow dollop of Amber contains an unmistakable remnant of a feather making it a rare and unique example. This amazing fossil is joined inside the hardened suspension by additional detritus, but it is no doubt the fibrous and detailed "eye lash" quill is the centerpiece of this ancient diorama. An impressive specimen from Myanmar, this polished piece of "burmite" dates to the Cretaceous when the dinosaurs roamed the earth. This roundish form weighs 5 grams, with clarity that allows ease of viewing.
