This big piece of fossilized tree resin, known as Amber, has a most unique shape with a bit of a point on one edge. The example weighing 51 grams houses a planthopper and numerous other insects within its sizable confines. The offering has internal fractures and a lot of "detritus" preserved in the golden form. An indentation notch appears right near the point, and the complexity of the inclusions is what makes it such a collectible specimen. Its combination of size, shape, and clarity result in a superb polished sample.
