Boasting a dynamic shape and a typical golden-yellow coloration, this specimen of Dominican Amber weighing over 200 grams has much to offer. Water clarity allows for ease of viewing the stingless bee of the Proplebeia variety that is the star of this prehistoric scene, preserved for all time in fossilized tree resin. Several internal fractures add a further element of contrast to the piece, which is highly artistic in terms of its shape and form. A bonus is the visible long 'shoot' suspended in the Amber near an edge.
