A beautiful golden-yellow specimen of polished Amber from the Dominican Republic, this amazing piece contains a large fossil leaf. Botanical material is actually much less common than insects in terms of such inclusions, for which the variety is so prized by collectors. This water-clear example weighs a robust 61.6 grams and contains a snout beetle, as well as a trio of unidentified flies, in addition to the relatively huge leaf. The combination of the fossil plant, insects, and internal fractures results in one incredible diorama.
