This rounded, rectangular bar of fossilized tree resin is quite clear and rather uncomplicated for a piece of Amber. The expansive interior does not contain much of the typical congestion and detritus which in this case allows for showcasing of the "planthopper" that is preserved within the smooth golden-yellow example. The piece contains several unidentified flies in addition to the primary insect. There may even be remnants of a spider web. Viewing under magnification is a must for this clear and singular specimen.
