The circular bowl with hand hammered surface, chased repoussé
design of Poseidon and Tritons alternating with
seahorses amidst strands of seagrass falling over undulating rim
and trailing to domed footed base.

The Poseidon bowl, presents very well with some loss to gilt interior. It was designed as a pair to a mermaid themed bowl. An example of the pair sold for $111,500 in 2012 at Morphy Auctions.
