    A THREE-PIECE GEORGE IV SILVER AND SILVER GILT TEA SERVICE

    5-3/8 inches high (13.7 cm)
    48.76 troy ounces

    The three-piece tea service comprising melon-form teapot, sugar bowl and creamer, teapot with melon finial on vine to hinged lid, each piece on foliate scroll feet, C-form handle to teapot with leafed blooms and acanthus leaf furl, same design to S-form handles of sugar bowl that terminates in a spiral with leaf overlay, scalloped foliate and floral border at rim of each, silver gilt interior to sugar bowl and creamer, (Grimwade 2234).
