    Sotheby's, New York, Important English and Continental Silver and Objects of Vertu, October 13, 2007, lot 76

    The plates of circular shape, gadroon rims with alternating acanthus leaves and ovolos, engraved with coat of arms to border and bearing motto FOY POUR DEVOIR.





    Condition Report*: Scattered surface scratches of varying degrees throughout, one plate with significant scratch to underside and another with pin dents to underside of rim, each with clear engraved coat-of-arms.
