    6-3/4 inches high (17.1 cm) (on stand, handle down)

    The patinated iron teapot of ovoid-form with applied silver decoration of a male and female figure in Japanese attire, an open fan to opposite side, with moveable U-form handle attached to body with loops, lid with stylized chased leaves and flowers below the silver finial, tapering cylindrical spout, tripartite stand with silver butterflies and fly, iron ring supports silver burner with sterling and Gorham marks.

    Condition Report*: Surface variance to right of knelling figure, indicating possible manipulation or loss of appied decoration, while edge of silver shows no loss.  Expected wear to patination and general surface wear commensurate with age, nicely presented.
