While A. D. Greer was a prolific painter of Texas landscapes, paintings of his generally do not contain bluebonnets. This large canvas is an excellent and rare example of an A. D. Greer bluebonnet painting.

Condition Report*: Excellent condition. Painting would benefit from a light surface cleaning. There is yellowed varnish. Period frame in excellent condition.
