Traveling Compound Monocular Microscope. "BAUSCH & LOMB OPTICAL CO." Model APS 6. SN 150754. Fixed metal stage covered with vulcanite with spring clips. Draw tube graduated in mm, every tenth line numbered. Side fine adjustment. Double circular nose-piece marked "4mm" and "16mm". Adjustable swing-out sub-stage with quick acting screw. Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm, shutter to adjust for darkfield and filter holder; with blue filter. 50mm plano/concave nirror. Folding foot. Oculars: "10 HYPERPLANE", "5". Objectives: "16mm 0.25 10X 173065 Bausch & Lomb Opt. Co. Rochester N.Y. U.S.A." brass body, nickel nose, black can; "4mm 0.85 NA. Bausch & Lomb Opt. Co." brass body, nickel nose, black can; "1.8mm 1.30 100X 173065 Bausch & Lomb Opt. Co. Rochester N.Y. U.S.A. Fluorite Oil Imm Pat. Oct. 13, 1925" brass body, nickel nose, no can. "Pat. Jan. 5, 1915" on top of arm, "Pat. Jan. 3-1899" on top of condenser. Bottle of "Spencer" immersion oil. Fitted wooden box, 10-3/4" x 6-3/8" x 3-3/4" with replacement key. Black body tube, arm and foot.
