    The Goddess standing holding a cornucopia, with one arm raised over her head, wearing a draped gown carved in Algerian onyx, with head, bust, arm, cornucopia and legs cast in bronze with deep brown patination. The base signed C. Cordier. Raised on a red-veined marble pedestal.

    Provenance: 1987 private collection, Germany; June 10-13, 1988, Sotheby's, London, no. 47W, September 27, 1991, Sotheby's, London, no. 13 (Fortuna). In Facing the Other, Charles Cordier (1827-1905) by Laure de Margerie and Edouard Pepet, published by Harry N. Abrams, Inc., a publication to accompany the exhibition by the same title shown at the Musee d'Orsay, Paris, Musee national des beaux-arts du Quebec, and the Dahesh Museum of Art, New York, 2004, page 213 states that this sculpture's present location is "unknown."
