Morgan River
South Carolina, USA
2.40 x 1.75 x 0.48 inches (6.10 x 4.45 x 1.22 cm)
This well-preserved fossil tooth from Otodus megalodon represents one of the most iconic remains of Earth's prehistoric oceans. The specimen features a warm tan to brown coloration with subtle gradient tones that accentuate the fine enamel texture. While the serrations have softened with time, the blade's form remains sharp and symmetrical, and the root displays excellent integrity with natural surface detail. The combination of earthy hues and balanced proportions gives this example a refined, classic appearance. This handsome tooth is a timeless collectible that captures the enduring fascination with the world's most powerful ancient predator.
[Scale: 2-inch Great White tooth]
Estimate: $300 - up.
