This fossil-bearing slab presents two well-preserved specimens of Flexicalymene meeki, a classic Trilobite species from the Ordovician Period. Both individuals retain fine detail in their segmented exoskeletons, with the rounded cephalon and ribbed thorax clearly defined against the gray matrix. The positioning of the pair adds visual interest, as though the creatures had taken a brief pause before being locked in stone. Trilobites such as these once swarmed ancient seas in vast numbers, but today their strange, fossilized armored forms carry an almost uncanny presence. This is from the famed Mt. Orab location.
