Acquired directly from the above
George Sumers was a prominent New York stockbroker who purchased over 500 acres in Colorado, commissioning Thomas Molesworth to made all the furnishings for the lodge. The extensive project, which included doors, cabinets and small details, alongside the furniture, would be arguably Molesworth's most important commission and the best example of his approach as artist and designer.
