N&W CLASS A LOCOMOTIVE AND TENDER BY FINE MODELS
Overall dimension: 7 x 61 x 5 inches (17.8 x 154.9 x 12.7 cm)
Superbly built and detailed 1.32 scale gauge 1 electric model of the heavy coal hauler built and used exclusively by Norfolk & Western Railroad from 1936 as a lighter alternative to the Alleghany 'Big Boy'. The model is powered by two 18-volt Pittman motors for 12-volt DC, and features remarkable detail throughout, including every door and hatch operable and revealing precisely authentic interiors. The digitized sound system is perhaps the finest ever made, and designed for remote control or operation by radio control or computer. Presented with FAM walnut case and table stand.
