This striking Australian Gold nugget is, not surprisingly, virtually pure and weighs a substantial 7.41 troy ounces. The sizable example features two relatively smoothed sides with large surface areas. This came out of the famous Bendigo Goldfields and showcases the brilliant sheen characteristic of 'Aussie' Golds. The irregularly shaped elongated nugget has a virtually Gold-filled cavity between its two smooth sides. The tactile density of the nugget validates the weight, and the form allows for a number of orientations.
Overall Measurements: 3.27 x 1.38 x 0.61 inches (8.31 x 3.50 x 1.56 cm), weighs 230.44 grams (7.41 oz t)
