Fire Opals make one of the most visually impactful gemstones that light up with an intense fiery red-orange hue, hence the name. This slightly more than 5 carat Fire Opal displays the quintessential "fire" hue so coveted by collectors. The stone has been expertly cut into an emerald shape, and the elongated step facets help to emphasize the well-balanced and saturated color, as well as create a breathtaking scintillation. The gem is eye-clean, with a slightly cloudy appearance and two chips to the facet junctions on the pavilion. This large, vibrant stone is in overall good condition.
