These three early works by the Gardner Factory in Moscow are examples of their earliest period of production, in which they looked to Meissen models as exemplars, and also marked their pieces with Meissen pseudo-marks in cobalt blue. The decoration here echoes the popular Meissen "strewn flowers" style of decoration which inspired the Imperial Porcelain Factory's "Everyday Service" of Catherine II "The Great".
