This rather oddball mineral specimen consists of a polished pair of Star Sapphires that look like eyes. The lilac-blue material is glassy and mysteriously translucent. The two smooth domes evidence rather visible asterism. The unique offering of Corundum is heavy and dense for its size, and is quite the phenomenon.
