This is a splendid and classic combination specimen from Mount Xuebaoding, presenting several large, intergrown Cassiterite twins against a slender, proportional, tall-standing matrix of nicely formed Muscovite blades. The twinned Cassiterite crystals climb up the specimen, leading upward to a single large twin that reaches a respectable 7.6 centimeters across. Each of the Cassiterite crystals has a jet black color with subtle hints of brown and a strong metallic luster. Most of the Muscovite is dusted with a thin layer of lustrous microcrystals. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
