The municipality of Iraí is no stranger to interesting Calcite specimens and this broad cabinet specimen is certainly one of them. Several elongated Calcite scalenohedrons are scattered across the top side of a thin, contrasting dark brown matrix, reaching up to 5.9 centimeters in length. Distributed around the Calcite, covering the majority of the specimen, is a layer of blue-green copper oxides, which add an extra layer of vibrance and contrast to the piece.

More Information: This piece is in excellent condition with minor cleaves at the terminations of a few Calcite crystals.
