This substantial specimen from the Erupción Mine is practically covered with thick, well-formed tabular Wulfenite crystals reaching up to an impressive 2.0 centimeters in size. The crystals display a light butterscotch-orange color with characteristically darker zoning that stripes across the crystals' center, producing a distinctive layered, almost sandwich-like appearance. All of the Wulfenite is presented on a limonitic matrix, giving the piece a strong sense of depth.
