Michael Mazur was born in New York City and educated at Horace Mann School, Amherst College, and the Yale School of Art, where he earned both his B.F.A. and M.F.A. Known for his graceful works on paper, Mazur's painterly technique often depicted plants, trees, and tools, reflecting his interest in the narrative power of observation.

Condition Report*: Presents well. Very light toning to sheet. Undulations throughout. A few negligible handling dents, observed under raking light. UV examined, a few scattered pin dots of foxing. Matted and framed under acrylic, not examined outside of frame.
