Discovered in Algeria in 2024, this newly classified Pallasite-NWA 16799-features large, gemlike Olivine crystals suspended within an Iron-Nickel matrix. The polished surface reveals an intricate Widmanstätten pattern interlaced with translucent golden-green crystals that glow under light. Pallasites are among the rarest meteorite groups, representing less than 200 of over 70,000 known specimens, and are prized for their striking visual contrast of metal and silicate. Weighing X grams, this complete slice showcases exceptional clarity, stability, and an appealing natural shape. This is a superb and aesthetically pleasing example of a celestial gemstone born from the depths of an ancient asteroid.
