This large, flat decorative specimen presents as a natural mineral "plate," richly adorned with a fine layer of sparkling blue Azurite crystals, accompanied by an overgrowth of vibrant green Malachite. The Azurite occurs in minute, densely clustered crystals that shimmer under light, while the velvety Malachite forms a contrasting, fibrous surface texture. Sourced from the historic Morenci Mine-renowned for its Copper-rich secondary mineral assemblages-this piece exemplifies the striking color contrast and mineral interplay that make Azur-Malachite combinations so highly prized. Its broad, planar form makes it ideal for use as a display plate or as a sculptural natural accent in mineral collections or interiors.
