Here is an exceptional and very hefty specimen of Fluorite from the Denton Mine that is fully composed of immense, translucent, cubic crystals that measure up to 8.5 centimeters across the edge. The Fluorite shows one of the classic Southern Illinois styles with a splendid blue color that is accented with zones of deep purple that trace the outer edges and fill the center of the crystals. Stepped features detail the surface of the specimen, shining with a nice luster, and are lightly dusted with tiny, brassy crystals of Chalcopyrite. This piece comes with and presents wonderfully on a custom acrylic base.

More Information: This piece is in excellent condition with very minor bruising on one of the edges and a cleave on one of the frontmost corners.
