A dramatic specimen that is fully composed of elongated, well-formed, terminated Scolecite crystals, all of which are free of any matrix. The Scolecite is consolidated into three distinct, interconnecting sprays that branch from a smaller, aerial group of Scolecite to an immense V-shaped spray, giving the piece a more sculptural presentation. Each crystal has a tannish-pink hue towards the base of the spray that gradually transitions to a white hue along the terminations. The crystals sparkle brightly with a glassy luster and present nicely from just about every angle. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
