Celestine with Sulphur

The thick columns of well-formed, stocky, pale blue Celestine (up to 3.2 centimeters across) composing most of this cabinet specimen are partially enveloped by classic, vibrant yellow associations of native Sulphur, which add a very vibrant contrast to the piece. While you can see some of the Celestine crystals stretching through the specimen from its side views, the terminations are mostly left untouched by the Sulphur, showing a field of sharp, terminated faces that enhance the Celestine's glassy luster and give the specimen a textured appearance. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
