This impressive Native Silver specimen, mined in the 1970s from the Zinkgruvan Mine in central Sweden, ranks among the largest examples known from this classic locality to remain in private hands. Weighing 493 grams, the specimen displays the distinctive wire and branching crystallization characteristic of Silver from Zinkgruvan, one of Europe's most historically significant polymetallic deposits. Formerly part of the Peter Lyckberg Collection, the piece carries distinguished provenance. Lyckberg, a respected Swedish mineral collector, researcher, author, and lecturer in geology, mineralogy, and gemology, has spent more than three decades contributing to the advancement of mineralogical study through international lectures and publications. A specimen of exceptional size, crystallization, and pedigree, representing both a geological treasure and a noteworthy piece of European mineral collecting history.
