Offered in this lot is a set of two fibrous, white to tannish Ulexite specimens that each radiate upward from a single point, almost resembling "mushrooms" or "clamshells." Both specimens come from the West Baker Mine, an older borate mine that is now covered by the dumps from another nearby mining operation.

More Information: Both pieces are in good condition but have residual patches of adhesive from previous repair work along one of the side edges. There is no indication that the two pieces in this lot were previously joined together.
