Handel Metal Overlaid Glass and Patinated Metal Sunset Table Lamp, circa 1920Marks to shade: HANDEL PAT'D. No. 979664
20-1/4 x 16-1/4 inches (51.4 x 41.3 cm) (overall)
Condition Report*:
Two-socket base in overall good condition, with light surface wear. Nine panel slag glass shade with tropical landscape and whiplash filigree metal overlay. One panel of swirled aubergine, white, and amber replaced. One panel with tight stable hairline stabilized with adhesive. Adhesive applied to metal frame throughout. Several minor losses and splits to metal overlay. Shade measures 7 x 16-1/4, with a 3-3/4 inches aperture. Heritage does not guarantee the working order or overall completeness of electrified lighting.
