Condition Report*:
Shade: A particularly vibrant example of this pattern, the most complicated of the Louis series. The large hexagonal shade with multi-colored glass tiles separated by gilt bronze bands presents well overall. Approximately 30 tiles display stable hairlines, primarily concentrated along the lower edge. One section with a slight push at edge. Wear and rubbing to gilt commensurate with age and use.
Base: The base, decorated with maiden heads and filigree, shows rubbing to gilt throughout, as expected. Inverted bell-form light cluster pierced with hearts and fitted with four sockets, with marks THE DUFFNER & KIMBERLY COMPANY NEW YORK, DKCo. Base has been rewired.
